2009 End of a Legacy

Tuesday, January 20, 2009 I attended the inaguration of Barak Obama as the 44th President of the United States. My sister Vanessa also attended the ceremony. Here's one of my favorite moments while in DC, met a street vendor selling Barack Obama Hot Sauce

Monday, March 19, 2009 Dad transitioned. He received full military honors and was recognized by his fellow Masons from King Solomon Masonic Lodge of which he was elected Worshipful Master.

He was euligized at Olivet Baptist Church were he was a Senior Deacon for years.

He was buried next to our mom Mary Elizabeth Cox Hudson at the Rock Island National Cemetary.
